New in my home...

indobay home-new thrift store finds I love visiting secondhand shops whether it's for clothing or items for my home. I have a habit of dropping off donations to my local thrift shop only to pop in "just for a minute" in hopes of uncovering some hidden gem.

Please say hello to my latest finds above.

Hidden behind all kinds of stuff were these fantastic wooden folding chairs! With a major cleaning they look almost new again. I loveΒ how simple, yet highly functional they are.

Now I must confess that I have a chair fetish. Some woman love shoes I love chairs. We did not need anymore chairs brought into our small home. Yet, my rationale was that they were folding chairs that could be brought out when needed but put away when not. Who couldn't use extra seating from time to time.

I do have a rule however that if something comes in something has to go out. This rule is necessary in a small home with two adults, one child, two dogs and three outdoor cats. So with a little reluctance, I did give away one of my chairs that I found on the side of the road one day. I LOVED that chair but let my sister have it in order to make room for my new lovelies.

Have you uncovered any new "gems" lately? Do you have a furniture fetish of any kind?

Happy Monday & live SIMPLY, live LOVELY.
